@kazriko Thanks god there was no fire. Although the only time when I almost stalled my Mooney on the final was in the same spot where crash happened, I suspect that the crash was precipitated by getting distracted by maneuvering on final, rather than winds as such. Winds were gusty, but within the capability of a Bonanza.
