Just saw a hummingbird feeding on my hibiscus flowers. I distinctly recall someone with authority claiming that there aren't any hummingbirds in Texas. It's possible that they are invasive species. It's interesting though that we had a Russia level winter for a week for Valentine's Day in 2021. Lots of plants died. But nothing happened to hummbingbirds. What are they, avian cockroaches?
@stuff I keep avian cockroach feeders on my house for them. They're quite photogenic for flying bugs.

@kazriko But you're not in Texas, are you? Colibri were a common sight in California and New Mexico.
