For reasons, I didn't visit certain chains for at least 5 years, or more like 7 years.
Olive Garden: Smells like piss, kiosks at tables, the bread sticks went to shit because they made them soaked in oil. Do not try to make your own pasta, it's not going to work as you expect. Their "Marsala" is Alfredo with mushrooms.
Red Robin: Same kiosks. Burgers are now what they used to sell at Jack's. I have to say though, the speed with which they serve puts explicit fast food joints to shame.
Outback: Still very good for a chain. The only fault is, they stopped skinning their onions.

@stuff The smell at olive garden probably varies by region. Here it's at least a reasonably clean establishment. There's hardly anything on their menu that I like anymore though.
Red Robin here, on the other hand, has very slow service here and still manages to mess up the orders a lot.
Outback here, the last time I had a steak there, had extremely tough steaks compared to Texas Roadhouse. It's probably due for another trial though. I like other things on their menu and usually get those when someone asks to eat there.
Here, all 3 of them have kiosks at the table now. I think Chilis was the first one around here that had them. Also Red Lobster has them here now as well.
