1-person mastodon instance moderation
for people who run tiny mastodon instances (for example on masto.host): how much work is managing your server block lists? it's really unclear to me what that looks like for a 1-person instance

@b0rk I don't have any. In fact, I don't know how to configure the filtering of any kind. Obviously it cannot continue like this, but I'm continuing on procrastinating and I have been successful at it for several years.

@pro @b0rk I dabbled with the filtering a bit, was trying to make certain other instances not show up on the public timeline, but ultimately I just decided to make the public timeline private instead. So right now I don't have a block list at all. I imagine I'd just block individual users if they started to get annoying.
