@jonathan @requiem Yeah, Spectrum here too, though I had to pay to upgrade my modem to the gigabit capable one in order to get the IPv6 support. You should do the https://ipv6.he.net/certification/ course to familiarize yourself with the network admin side of ipv6. It's free.
@anime I really enjoyed that manga when I read it.
@requiem It's a whole lot worse when you modify something, and you don't know that you just broke 5 things on the other end of the program.
This one is talking about China, but it's really a warning for others.
Zeihan on Russian Propaganda
@stuff Carls Jr and BK aren't owned by the same company, but both of them do that same sort of flame grilling on their burgers. I don't know about this particular franchisee, but usually the franchises have to buy the food from the parent company, rather than procuring it themselves. (Carls Jr parent company also owns Hardees, Red Burrito, and Green Burrito. BK's parent company owns Firehouse Subs, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes.)
https://youtu.be/iAD684eczq8 Talks about caution for those supporting Ukraine in how many of the wars Russia has fought and won have had a time when they've had major setbacks of the type they're suffering now.
@anime He has a daily "resupply" skill that lets him replenish supplies he used for the day. He's also already gotten higher end equipment as he levels up, such as motorcycles and RPGs. As far as that goes, the Empire of Man/Prince Roger's March series was the one I liked best on resupplying ammunition on a backwards planet though.

@union @deprecated_ii That sounds like something that wouldn't occupy and partition Russia. Just slowly erode it.
@union @deprecated_ii I dunno, does anyone actually want to occupy them? Seems like if they're not a threat, then there's not a lot to gain from it. If they were under a stable and non-threatening government and trading goods with the rest of the world, then people would probably leave them alone.
@fribbledom (The main reason though is that development is expensive, and consumers are looking to save a buck, so they don't buy the Thelio or the Framework most of the time.)
@fribbledom There's still Framework, and System76 still has the Thelio, even though they also white-box many devices.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU2R5w86Us8&t=511s He gave the Slave Harem Dungeon anime an S tier, while giving Isekai Ojisan only an A. I suppose a lot of people liked the Manga for that one though.
@requiem @jonathan Well, I suppose in the absolute most abstract sense, since most corporations stocks are held extensively by pensions and retirement funds, and older people are more likely to be republican, then sure, a lot of it trickles up to republicans, despite most of the people running corporations being Democrats now.
@requiem Oh, you work for small business?
@union Yeah, they're still pretty good friends with Russia in India, so it makes sense that they wouldn't join in on that, but they're equally on bad terms with China, so Russia is the only thing holding the two of them together and keeping their constant border skirmishes and salami slicing from going hot. China is basically also working hard to make Pakistan their friends, and Pakistan and India are still on fairly bad terms.
