@gamingonlinux I don't get the RAAAA part, much better to just mock them for it. https://images-ext-1.discordapp.net/external/QBX3zJyKGhjpOzoG65i68mYI6f_H96Px7qtd5LWtrcI/https/www.nerfnow.com/img/3177/4775.png?width=675&height=869
@polpo Ouch, that's REALLY bad.
@polpo Could a bias resistor help on the ISA reset line?
@Cheeseness @SallyMonster Who has two thumbs and will totally mess you up if you approach his territory? This bird!
@benjedwards Have to put that black line $1000 higher now, right?
@requiem Most of the time at those events, the cell towers in the area get overloaded, and so do all the wifi, so be prepared to be severely throttled on the bandwidth.
@benjedwards The Lunduke podcast mentioned it as a negative, that basically if everyone is wearing this we'll never be looking at anyone's real eyes again.
@zaitcev I imagine one of those expiration dates is "when China is dumb enough to invade Taiwan, because the US will be shifting everything to the pacific when that happens."
The humble book bundle... Says "Use on Any Device" and "Read them anywhere." My linux desktop is both a "device" and a "where" but way down in a link on the fine print it says "Linux: Kobo Desktop is not compatible with Linux OS."
They really should correct those two statements.
They really should correct those two statements.
Wow, talk about an anti-feature. Youtube's autoplay toggle switches when you scroll up and down the page, based on the last direction you scrolled on the scroll wheel... I'm sure they're just trying to get you to accidentally enable that garbage.
@cstrotm Dynect is the dns host that used to be known as Dyndns. Weird that Twitter is using them.
My internet provider (which just cut out for over a minute) sent me an email with the subject of "Our way of saying thanks". It was spam for their cell phone provider.
@LoganFive I don't know how Commodore users could tolerate some of the weirdness of their system... We didn't have to hit the play button on our tape drives over in the Atari space, the computer controlled everything on that, even stopping the tape once the program was loaded.
@benjedwards @sofiav If you didn't have an ISP, I remember that it had some stuff for finding dialup ISPs in some versions of windows?
@benjedwards I mean... You can still log off. Just unplug your router. Depending on your OS, many things will still work. :) Updates probably won't. Installing new software probably won't, but you could still pop open a text editor and program as long as you don't need stackoverflow.
